We’re looking for a talented and driven Mid-Market Sales Executive to join our growing Sales team.
As a Mid-Market Sales Executive you will drive new business growth within the mid-market segment. This role focuses on owning the full sales cycle, from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing, while building strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
The ideal candidate is a consultative seller who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, can articulate value to technical and business stakeholders, and consistently hits targets. This role emphasises on transactional mid market sales, with a focus on execution excellence.
Responsibilities
- Identify & Qualify Opportunities: Generate mid-market pipeline proactively through outbound prospecting, networking, and responding to inbound leads.
- Full Sales Cycle Ownership: Manage the entire sales process – discovery, solution presentations, proposals, pricing, negotiation, and close.
- Customer Advocacy: Develop relationships with key decision-makers and influencers in mid-market accounts to drive adoption, renewal, and expansion.
- Consultative Selling: Understand customer business needs and challenges; position ControlMonkey’s value in alignment with mid-market goals.
- CRM & Forecasting: Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunities, forecasts, and activity in CRM.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Marketing, SDR/BDR, Solution Engineering, and Channel teams to ensure a seamless buyer experience.
- Territory & Account Planning: Build and execute territory strategies that align with revenue goals and market expansion.
- Represent ControlMonkey at Industry events: Participate in global industry events.
Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, with a proven track record in the SaaS software space.
- Proven success owning full sales cycles – prospecting through closing.
- Strong consultative selling skills, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities, comfortable on calls, demos, and in person.
- Experience with CRM systems and sales forecast processes (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Familiarity with AI tools that enable work at scale.
- Hard worker, high energy, high standards – must.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the DevOps ecosystem and the cloud infrastructure landscape.
