ControlMonkey discovers selected environments using read-only access, identifies which resources are protected or unprotected, highlights drift and ClickOps activity, and provides a DR-readiness report with actionable recommendations.
No. The assessment uses read-only access. There are no agents to install, no infrastructure changes, and no changes to production systems.
A protected DR resource is a cloud or SaaS configuration object that ControlMonkey continuously backs up, versions, and makes available for recovery. Examples include IAM roles, DNS records, routing rules, security groups, firewall rules, monitoring dashboards, and other critical configuration assets.
Traditional backup usually focuses on data, files, workloads, or storage. ControlMonkey focuses on cloud and SaaS configuration: the infrastructure settings, permissions, policies, routes, and service configuration your environment depends on.
