Today marks a major step forward for ControlMonkey as we are thrilled to announce the launch of our very own ControlMonkey Terraform Provider! As an organization that firmly believes in the power of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), we have long endorsed Terraform as a preferred tool for managing, versioning, and automating infrastructure setup. Yet, until now, one piece of the puzzle was missing – a Terraform provider tailored specifically for the ControlMonkey platform.
It always seemed a bit odd, considering our commitment to IaC and Terraform, that we didn’t have our own Terraform provider. This discrepancy is what motivated us to develop a solution that could seamlessly integrate ControlMonkey with Terraform. Our vision was to build a provider that would not just facilitate infrastructure management, but also deliver a more consistent, unified, and streamlined user experience.
Our customers, as always, have been the driving force behind our relentless innovation. They voiced a need – a way to manage ControlMonkey with Terraform – and we listened. It’s your feedback that propels us to constantly refine and enhance our product offering. Today, we’re proud to declare that it’s now possible to manage your ControlMonkey stacks with Terraform!
In-line with our ongoing commitment to improving the ControlMonkey experience, we’ve also expanded our services to include support for programmatic users and personal access tokens. Our users now have the ability to generate their own personal access tokens, affording them greater flexibility and autonomy in managing their ControlMonkey stacks.
