Ori Yemeni

Ori is the CTO and Co-Founder of ControlMonkey. He has spent over 10 years in tech, starting as the founder of YOApss and later serving as Head of Ocean at Spot.io. During his time at YOApss, he delivered mobile app development solutions for clients across multiple industries and met with Aharon Twizer, the current CEO at ControlMonkey. Together, they founded ControlMonkey.

Ori’s passion is building ControlMonkey as a Cloud Intelligence & Management platform that keeps your production secure, compliant, and cost-efficient. In this blog, he shares his insights and findings in these domains.

Past Experience and Qualifications

Ori obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Tel Aviv University in 2017 and completed his Master’s studies at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Simultaneously, he was running mobile application development at YOApss as its founder.

In 2017, he joined Spot.io as a Senior Software Developer. In two years, he became Head of Ocean (Kubernetes) and spent over 3 years in this role, building deep tech for DevOps and cloud infrastructure. There, he met Aharon Twizer, his friend and fellow co-founder of ControlMonkey.

Throughout his career, Ori has demonstrated consistent focus on facilitating Infrastructure as Code challenges. At ControlMonkey, he applies his entrepreneurial experience and technical expertise to lead a cloud-native platform for DevOps automation, security, and cost management.
